Wendy W.Y. YungWendy Yung is an advocate for good corporate governance in Hong Kong. Prior to founding “Practising Governance” for this cause, Wendy was Executive Director and Company Secretary of Hysan Development and played a key role in developing and implementing its well-recognized corporate governance practices. Over the years, her responsibilities have spanned commercial operations, as well as human resources and corporate communications.
Wendy is a co-opted member of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority. She previously served as a member of the Listing Committee of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, the Standing Committee on Company Law
Reform, and (representing Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants) the Professional Accountants in Business Committee of the International Federation of Accountants.
First trained as a solicitor, Wendy also qualified as a certified public accountant and a governance practitioner/ chartered secretary in Hong Kong. She is a council member of the Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute, and also served as a co-opted council member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She graduated with First Class Honours in Law from Oxford University, United Kingdom.

ENVISIONING A "POST-COVID" WORLD
Dr. Au King-lun, MHDr. Au King-lun, MH is Executive Director of Financial Services Development Council (FSDC). Prior to joining the FSDC, he was President of Value Partners Group Limited. Dr Au also served as CEO of Eastspring Investments (Hong Kong) Limited and CEO of BOCHK Asset Management Limited. He also held various senior management positions at other financial institutions including Baring, GMO and HSBC Global Asset Management.
King-lun was named CEO of the Year in Hong Kong by Asia Asset Management in 2012 and 2014. He was awarded the Medal of Honor by the HKSAR Government in 2008 for his valuable contributions to the securities and asset management industry. He was also the Chairman of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI) from 2006 to 2008 and the Chairman of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association in 2004/2005.
King-lun is currently serving as a Council member of the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Public Accountants, an Index Advisory Committee member of China Securities Index Co., Limited and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hong Kong among other public services.
King-lun is a CFA Charterholder and a Senior Fellow of HKSI. He received his BA in Physics from the University of Oxford and PhD in Theoretical Particle Physics from the University of Durham.

He has more than 20 years of professional services experience, providing services which cover listing, accounting consulting, due diligence for clients in a variety of industries including education, consumer products & retail, manufacturing, technology, real estate, media and financial services.
William is a strong advocate of the integrated development of professional services with big data, blockchain, artificial intelligence and other technologies to achieve optimal service quality and efficiency. He believes that integrated development is a major trend – in particular the integration of industries, technologies and cultures – and is a key driver of innovation.
William is passionate about entrepreneurship and is committed to accelerating innovative technologies by supporting the transformation and upgrading of enterprises.
He also plays an active role in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) by promoting the interconnection of professional talent and resources, providing clients with high-quality services that bring together global perspectives and local experiences.
William is a member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the CPA Australia and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
In addition, his public services include: Deputy President of the Guangzhou Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Deputy Director of Accounting Professional Committee of the Council for the Promotion of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation.
Ada Choi, CFAAda Choi leads CBRE’s occupier research in Asia Pacific and also oversees data strategy for the region. Since joining CBRE in 2005, Ada has held a variety of leadership roles, including head of capital markets research for Asia Pacific and head of research for Greater China.
Prior to joining CBRE, Ada worked in financial markets research for the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing’s Planning and Research team, where she led research into financial market development trends and benchmarking Hong Kong against other leading global financial centres.
Ada has 15 years research experience in the Asia Pacific real estate market. She holds a MSc in Financial Engineering and Quantitative Analysis for Business from the City University of Hong Kong and a BA in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts.
Nicholas AllenNicholas Allen is the Independent Non-Executive Director and the Chairman of the Board of Link Asset Management Limited.
Nick is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of CLP Holdings Limited and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (both are listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange). He is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Mordril Properties Limited (a private property company based in Hong Kong). He was an Independent Non-Executive Director of Hysan Development Company Limited, Lenovo Group Limited (both are listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange) and VinaLand Limited (which was listed on the AIM of the London Stock Exchange).
Nick has extensive experience in accounting and auditing as well as securities and regulatory matters. He retired as a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2007. Nick served on the Securities and Futures Appeals Panel, the Takeovers and Mergers Panel, the Takeovers Appeal Committee, the Share Registrars’ Disciplinary Committee of the SFC and as member of various committees of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He was an honorary advisor to the Financial Reporting Council of Hong Kong. Currently, he is a director of Vision 2047 Foundation.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics/Social Studies from The University of Manchester. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is awarded “Directors of the Year 2017” by The Hong Kong Institute of Directors.
HKEX regulatory update + "future-ready" board
John WittsJon Witts is the Head of Enforcement in the Listing Division of HKEX. Jon has 20 years of experience relating to financial services disputes, investigations and regulatory enforcement matters, including over 11 years as a solicitor in private practice with Allen & Overy, and seven years as Head of Litigation & Legal Investigations, Asia-Pacific for the BNP Paribas group.
Jon joined HKEX in 2019 to establish and support the Listing Review Committee, before taking up his current role in Enforcement in 2020.
Jon read law at the University of Cambridge, and is qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong, a solicitor advocate in England & Wales, and a CEDR-accredited mediator.
Phil NeiswenderPhil Neiswender is the Head of Board Engagement at Nasdaq Governance Solutions, in the Americas and Asia-Pacific regions. In his role, Phil helps boards and executive teams address board composition and effectiveness, strategic board-management alignment, and other corporate governance and compliance matters. Prior to Nasdaq’s acquisition of the Center for Board Excellence (CBE) in 2019, Phil was a founding investor and advisor, president, and board member. Phil also served as Executive Vice President for Operations & Corporate Development and Chief Legal Officer at Xevo, Inc., Chief Operating Officer at Garagiste, Inc., and General Counsel and Vice President of Legal at BSQUARE Corporation. Phil obtained his J.D. from the University of Virginia and his B.A. from the University of Washington. Phil is a member of the Washington State bar.

Eugenie ShenEugenie Shen is Managing Director and Head of Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association (ASIFMA)’s Asset Management Group which advocates the views and interests of Asia asset managers at local, regional and global levels. Eugenie is a U.S. trained lawyer with more than 30 years of private practice and in-house legal experience across a wide range of institutions, industries and jurisdictions spanning Asia, the United States, Europe and Latin America. As a former managing director and chief legal officer of PineBridge Investments (the former AIG Investments) in Asia ex-Japan and general counsel of Morningside Technologies, Eugenie has a wealth of experience in retail and private fund formations, distributions, investments, and investment advisory/management issues.
Her other former positions include being head of HKEX’s China Listing Unit, vice president and senior associate counsel at Chase Manhattan Bank’s head office in New York and associate at Shearman & Sterling. Eugenie is a member of the New York Bar and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University and a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
Shereen TongShereen Tong is Group Chief Financial Officer of VTech Holdings Limited. She is responsible for VTech’s accounting and tax, treasury and financial as well as information technology and human resources management functions. Shereen joined VTech in 1994 and has held management positions in a number of areas including internal audit and financial control. She is also a member of the Risk Management and Sustainability Committee and Data Security Governance Board of the company.
Shereen holds a Master of Laws degree in Compliance and Regulation from The University of Hong Kong; a Master of Business Administration degree from Manchester Business School, UK; a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University; and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. She is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, UK, and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK; and is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Victor KwongVictor Kwong is General Manager - Corporate Sustainability and Chairman, Environmental Working Committee of the Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited. He is also a Director of Business Environment Council, past President of The Hong Kong Federation of Occupational Safety and Health Associations, etc.

Phyllis NgPhyllis Ng is a strategic human resources executive with over 30 years of experience in financial and REIT sectors across Asia Pacific managing Talent, Organization Development, Learning, Reward and Workplace functions. At UBS AG (formerly APAC Head of Rewards & HR Country Head of China, Korea & India) and Link REIT, she has led and executed different HR strategies and initiatives in the areas of talent management, organization and HR transformation, workforce planning and post M&A integration.
Phyllis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hong Kong and an Executive MBA degree from the Guanghua School of Management of the Peking University.

Kenneth ChauKenneth Chau is the Chief Technology Officer of Ping An OneConnect Bank. Prior to that, he has held senior positions in virtual bank (Chief Technology Officer of WeLab Bank) and international banks (Head of Technology Services, Technology Risk, Procurement of DBS Bank, and Project Manager of Standard Chartered Bank).
